But did you know that website redesign can also boost your search engine optimization (SEO) results? The trick is to incorporate SEO from the very start of the process, not as an afterthought.

From your very first meeting, make sure you build in SEO in the redesign strategy. SEO strategy should help guide everything from website structure to web meta descriptions to storyboards. Also, before you put the old website in the scrap heap, analyze and audit what worked and what didn’t work on that site. Look at the number of visitors, pages that received traffic, top-performing keywords, and overall web analytics.
