Websites Chock-Full of Awesomeness

Things have been really busy in the Metro web department in recent months, so we have to remind ourselves from time to time that being busy is a very good thing! The most gratifying part is seeing the end result of a lot of hard work — for us, as well as our clients. While we never truly consider a website to be a “finished” product because it should be constantly evolving, the official launch of a new website represents an exciting time for our clients, as well as our entire team here that played a role in the project.

With all that being said, we want to take a moment to “show off” our most recent websites that we designed and developed that have passed our internal “awesomeness test.” Hopefully you’ll think so too. Take a look:

Ian LeBeau, our lead web designer, really enjoyed working on this project thanks to its unique look and feel. Tim Connery, the Writer/Editor/Producer for “Easton’s Article,” was seeking a website that helped capture the mood of the film. This website showcases provides an opportunity to view the official movie trailer and learn about the film, cast and crew. The media section houses production and movie stills, sneak peek clips and acquisition information.

Amera-Seiki has been a leading supplier of CNC lathe turning centers, machining centers and bridge mills for over two decades. We worked with Rick Welsh, President & Owner of Amera-Seiki, to create a website that portrayed the quality of their CNC machine tools.

Brucemore Mansion in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Brucemore is a historic 26-acre estate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. At the heart of it stands a 19th-century mansion filled with stories from three families in the community. The website helps paint a picture of the Brucemore history and is loaded with great information that gives users a peak in at the past, as well upcoming concerts, theater and events.

The website needed to be clean, professional and well-organized. It is loaded with information, and it was built with ease-of-use in mind. It was a goal to enable website visitors to find what they are looking for as quickly and seemlessly as possible.

We aimed at delivering a website that gave justice to the beautiful and stylish line of residential garage doors and commercial overhead doors, and provided the ease-of-use that allowed visitors to find exactly what they were looking for as quickly as possible–whether they were looking for a new garage door for their home, to request repair service, or to find a replacement part or accessory.
