Ghost Player Documentary

Metro Studios and DreamCatcher Productions are proud to announce the world premiere of their collaborative documentary: “Ghost Player: Relive the Magic. The Team, the Times, the History” on Iowa Public Television July 15 – 19.

The documentary chronicles the adventures (and misadventures) of an unlikely team of middle-aged baseball players. In 1988, Hollywood came to Iowa to shoot the movie, Field of Dreams. Little did anyone know this blockbuster would spawn a comedic baseball show of Ghost Players who would travel the world. Through the documentary, witness how America's favorite pastime and a Hollywood movie set can give on group of men from small-town Iowa a second chance to live the life of which they've always dreamed.
